Our Trip - Part 2

After Lake Naci, we drove up to Hearst Castle, & stopped to see funny elephant seals nearby. Our last day was in San Luis Obispo. Other than a few auto issues (flat tire and dead battery) it was a blast! Thanks to the Goodges for their hospitality, use of the "hacienda" (note the cool barn), delicious tri-tip, and all the tips along the way. Yeah Arroyo Grande--home to the great Zac Efron (HSM2)!

Our Trip

Our Family recently drove up the CA coast stopping first at Lake Nacimiento where we went boating. We wakeboarded and tubed and ate lots of delicious food (Ethan was really proud of his ribs!)

Legoland

Last Week Shana and Luke Chavez came back down to visit, and we all went to Legoland together. We had an exciting day!

The Chavez Family

This last week our friends, the Chavez family, came to visit us. They used to live here in Ladera, and we were in the same ward, until they moved to Austin, Texas. They have three kids, two girls, and a boy, just like us! There is Allison who is Brynn's age, Darcy who is Cassie's age, and Luke who is Ethan's age. When they came the girls made a fun movie, and the boys went to an Angels vs. Red Sox game. Here are some fun pictures.

Ward Campout

This summer so far, we have done lots of fun things. We saw Transformers, went shopping, swimming, and our friends the Chavez's came in town. We also just participated in the ward camp out, which Erin helped coordinate. The theme was Bigfoot, and there was music, skits, dinner and dessert, with pancakes in the morning.
