Christmas!!!

This year we had a great Christmas at home. The main gifts that we got from Santa were the Wii and Guitar Hero 3!!! Here are the pics!

Trip to Arizona

Just a few days before Christmas, we went on another mini-vacation to Arizona. Our cousin Katie was getting married, and so mom and dad went to the wedding and luncheon, while us kids went to the reception. Mom and dad really enjoyed being at the temple they were married in (17 years ago). We got to spend lots of time with cousins, and at grandma and grandpa's house then we came back here on Christmas Eve.

Thanksgiving!

We hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year! We sure did! We went to Utah, and spent most of our time in Salt Lake. During our somewhat cold vacation, we saw tons of cousins, met up with our good friends (the Jones), and of course had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's. Overall, we really had a great time, so here are the pics...

Solo Concert

Recently, Cassie got to try out for a school choir solo concert, and she made it! She chose to sing "The Wizard and I" from Wicked the musical. She did a really great job, and I (Brynn) filmed it. Yes, I know I have steady hands lol... You need to click pause on the music playing at the top right of our blog to hear her sing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay, we all have a few things to say. First of all, we know our background absolutely does not match the title. We are going to have it fixed here in just a couple of days so don't worry. Mainly, we just want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and a fun break from school! We will be going out of town to Utah for a few days, and when we get back, we will have many fun pics to share!

Cassie's Birthday

I (Cassie) turned 11 on Oct.30th. We celebrated by opening presents and eating delicious crepes! We had a blast! Then we watched "Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin." We all love watching that movie! Before my birthday though, I also got my braces off. Now my teeth are smoother than ever! Take a peak at some of these pictures.

Trunk or Treat

Our ward had another very fun Trunk or Treat last week! Keeping up with our tradition of funny family themes the past few years, we decided to be In-n-Out workers. The event got moved inside, and so we decorated our room just like the real In-n-out. We had this home-made border, a fake menu, crossing palm trees, and all. We gave out gummy hamburgers. It was a fun night! Also, on the real Halloween night, Cassie was a black cat, Brynn was a pirate girl, and Ethan was "dead dopey." (Seven Dwarves from Snow White)

Karaoke!

Just last week, we discovered that Ethan has a hidden love for Karaoke! He randomly decided to start playing our gamecube game, "Karaoke Revolution." He quickly found his favorite song, "Call Me!" This week he has been playing it every free minute he has!!! We were able to catch this video of him singing along.

Lost Teeth

WOW!!! W e haven't blogged for SO long! Well, the reason for this, because blogger kept on telling us our email was invalid, so we couldn't log in! It is all fixed now, so we've got to update! About 3 weeks ago, Ethan lost his two front teeth! Yes, and now he can say "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" Oh yeah, and after Eth lost his first one, Cassie lost one of hers a second later!

Monkey Madness

Back to School

School has begun, and summer has sadly come to an end. Ethan is starting 2nd grade, Cassie is starting middle school, and Brynn is entering her 8th-grade year. We're back on track with homework, and we are ready for an exciting year! Here we are on the first day, (Brynn's eyes are closed, but this is the only pic we had) and Ethan in his line.

End of Summer (part 1)

We haven't blogged in so long! As for the end of our summer, we went to Lake San Vicente with our friends the Redds. Then we spent Labor Day weekend up at Big Bear Lake, where we went boating and hung out with our friends the Earwoods. Here we are wakeboarding (at San Vicente), on the boat, in the tube, and down the Alpine Slides (at Big Bear Lake). It was a blast!

Our Trip - Part 2

After Lake Naci, we drove up to Hearst Castle, & stopped to see funny elephant seals nearby. Our last day was in San Luis Obispo. Other than a few auto issues (flat tire and dead battery) it was a blast! Thanks to the Goodges for their hospitality, use of the "hacienda" (note the cool barn), delicious tri-tip, and all the tips along the way. Yeah Arroyo Grande--home to the great Zac Efron (HSM2)!
