Haircuts

Bridgett came over on Friday to give me (Brynn) and Cassie haricuts again! She did a great job as usual. I got barely anything cut off, while Cass cut about 4 inches off! She looks really cute with her new 'do. We took some fun during and after pics, and in the one of Cassie while she was having her hair cut, she was trying to look weird. lol.

Roses

Spring is a love/hate thing for me here in CA. It is my favorite time of year and I just smile when all the flowers start to bloom. Yet I have the worst, miserable allergies ever (and of course there's the "May Gray" & "June Gloom")! Oh well. I just had to snap a few shots of my "babies" this Spring. We are enjoying their beauty and everything that makes this area such a gorgeous place to live.

Concert Night

About two weeks ago, I (Cass) had a choir concert! I had a solo in one of our songs, I just don't have a picture of it. :]

Mom's Birthday

April 10th was my Mom's birthday! Here we are at WoodRanch for Dinner.

Thanks guys--it was a fun day! This kicks off birthday season for our family. Every one except Cass has a Spring birthday, so we'll be partying for awhile, especially Wayne who has a VERY big birthday at the end of the month--more to come on that!
When Cassie was really little, she had a hard time waiting and watching as we all celebrated our birthdays, knowing she had to wait clear until October. So one day, at the end of Brynn's birthday on June 15th, she proudly announced, "Brynn, your birfdays ovah!! Mine comin' up next!"
This has become a favorite quotable for us, so I guess now my "birfday is ovah!"

Easter

Easter was a beautiful day--probably the warmest we've had so far. Unfortunately, I (Erin--I know it's weird for me to actually be posting, but the kids are allowing it this time ;0) was sick on my favorite holiday, but we still managed to have fun. If we don't travel for Easter, and there's no family in town, then we like to picnic. So this year, we took a delicious lunch to a park above Capo Beach. Ethan and Wayne played catch and lost, not one, but two baseballs in the bushes. You can see some random people who felt bad for us and helped us search for the baseballs, but they were never found. Just below is a picture of the kids after church in the nearby flower field.

Holidays...that we missed!

WOW we haven't posted in the longest time!!! Sorry for our huge delay, we have A LOT to catch up on! Well, lets rewind all the way back to Valentines day...



In Ethan's class they were assigned to make a Valentine box for their cards & treats. He didn't want a girly-looking box, so we came up with this lion (which just happens to be the school mascot, too!) He loves this box and says he's keeping it forever!
Then, we have St. Patrick's day...





We made some yummy sugar cookies on St. Patrick's day, and ate them with green frosting and sprinkles! Then, Brynn had a science project where she had to make a model atom of Sodium. (We finished it on St. Patrick's day so that is why she's in green.) The project turned out really good.
